God Eater 3 isn’t the only title from this development team coming in 2019 Code Vein, a Dark Souls inspired RPG is also coming next year, though it is currently without a clear release window after being delayed out of 2018. Sony even made the decision to delay Days Gone to April in part because of that. God Eater 3 is much different than all of the aforementioned games, so it should hopefully find an audience, but there’s no denying that the competition between games at that time is stiff. Following franchise juggernauts Ace Combat 7, Resident Evil 2, and Kingdom Hearts III in January, God Eater 3 will be competing with Jump Force and Dead or Alive 6 close to launch. BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment Asia has revealed the story trailer for upcoming title GOD EATER 3, available from Februfor PlayStation® 4 computer entertainment system and PC. Within February alone, it’s going to have to compete with notable western titles like Crackdown 3, Metro: Exodus, Anthem, and Trials Rising. The game is going to have a lot of Japanese-developed competition to go up against as well. God Eater 3’s western release date just adds to the pile of notable games launching in the first part of 2019.

Fortunately, it doesn’t look like western fans of the series will be waiting too long as today’s new story trailer revealed that God Eater 3 is coming to PC and PS4 in North America and Europe on February 8, 2019. Since then, we’ve only had a vague “Early 2019” release window to go by for the western release. Bandai Namco Entertainment revealed back in September that God Eater 3 would be releasing for PC and PS4 in Japan on December 13.
